Amazon Summit: Full Support for Chinese Sellers

The 2025 Amazon Global Selling Summit marked its 10th anniversary and concluded successfully. The multiple practical initiatives and official data announced at the summit have outlined new directions for cross-border sellers to expand overseas in 2026.

I. Launch of the Global Warehousing and Distribution (GWD) Hub in Shenzhen

Amazon introduced the Global Warehousing and Distribution (GWD) hub for the first time, with its initial location established in Shenzhen, China. It is expected to officially open to Chinese sellers in March 2026. As a one-stop sourcing storage and distribution service, GWD covers the entire process, including warehousing, customs declaration and clearance, cross-border transportation, and inventory allocation, and can seamlessly integrate with Amazon's FBA logistics.

This means sellers no longer need to ship their products to overseas FBA warehouses in advance. Instead, they can simply send their inventory to the Shenzhen GWD hub, and their products will be listed for sale on Amazon's global marketplaces. When overseas buyers place orders, Amazon will handle the global delivery directly to consumers, significantly simplifying the stocking process and reducing logistics costs.

II. Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) Adds Vietnam as a New Shipping Origin

In response to the trend of supply chain relocation among some sellers, Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) announced the addition of Vietnam as a new shipping origin. Products manufactured in Vietnam can now be shipped directly from Haiphong and Ho Chi Minh City ports to the United States. In 2026, the destinations for this route will further expand to include Canada, Australia, the Middle East, and other marketplaces, improving global logistics network coverage.

The number of newly listed products increased by nearly 25% compared to the same period last year.

The number of Chinese sellers achieving sales of $2 million, $5 million, and $8 million increased by over 20% respectively.

The number of Chinese sellers exceeding $10 million in sales saw an increase of nearly 30%.
