Recently, on the occasion of its tenth anniversary of entering the Mexican market, Amazon released the third edition of its "Economic Impact Report," providing a comprehensive review of its decade of deep cultivation and achievements in the region. Since its establishment in 2015, Amazon's cumulative investment in Mexico has exceeded MXN 145 billion. According to calculations by the independent research institute Keystone Strategy, Amazon's investments have generated a significant economic multiplier effect: for every MXN 1 invested, an additional MXN 1.10 in value is created for the Mexican economy. In 2024 alone, its contribution to Mexico's national GDP surpassed MXN 29 billion, highlighting its powerful role as a driver of the digital economy.

Amazon has built a tight operational network in Mexico, consisting of 14 fulfillment centers, 29 delivery stations, and AWS cloud infrastructure, directly employing approximately 15,000 local employees.
