Warm Laba Festival, Three Offices Share Porridge Joy

On Laba Festival, the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, the chill of winter is warmed by heartfelt bonds. On January 26, 2026 (the Laba Festival of the lunar calendar), 1981 Technology’s Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Deyang offices joined together to celebrate this traditional holiday, simultaneously launching the "Warmth on Laba". The event offered every colleague a bowl of Laba porridge, filled with blessings and care.

Longan, lotus seeds, red dates, peanuts, glutinous rice, goji berries, lily bulbs, and eight other auspicious ingredients blended together, their fragrant steam rising—a symbol of "harmony, peace, and good health." Each bowl carried the beautiful meaning: "May everything in your life be well-prepared and perfectly delivered." "This is more than just porridge; it is the company’s recognition and appreciation for every hardworking individual."

Liang Jie from the Finance Department shared, "As finance professionals, we are usually precise with numbers and rules. But today, we choose to measure responsibility with warmth and honor perseverance through tradition." From the southern coast to the Jiangnan water towns and the western Sichuan plains, employees from all three locations held the same warmth in their hands at the same moment. Some took a short break at their desks to savor the sweetness, some shared the porridge with overtime-working colleagues, and others took photos to send to their family groups: "This year, the company is taking care of me on Laba, just like my parents would."
