10 Years, 1 Team: Thailand Adventure Begins

The fervor of midsummer carries the glory of the tenth anniversary. On July 14, 2025, under the theme "A Decade Together · Embracing the Future," 1981 Technology officially launched its special 10th-anniversary celebration—the "Cross-Border Gathering" team-building trip to Thailand. Over a hundred employees from Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Deyang crossed mountains and seas, embarking on this five-day cultural exploration with heartfelt enthusiasm.

In the early morning, as the flight smoothly landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, the tropical monsoon breeze, carrying the fragrance of jasmine, greeted the team. Eagerly changing into customized cultural T-shirts, the team members kicked off their first culinary feast at the century-old restaurant "Lan Fong Yuen" in Chinatown: the sweetness of mango sticky rice, the spiciness of tom yum soup, the crispiness of fried spring rolls, paired with locally recommended Thai milk tea. Colleagues from the three cities broke the ice over shared dishes, with laughter and conversation rising and falling under the glow of the night market lights.

On the morning of July 15, the rising sun cast golden rays over Bangkok’s landmark, the Grand Palace. The multinational team lingered in awe through the palace complex of the Ayutthaya Kingdom: the gilded reliefs of the Emerald Buddha Temple, the shade of the bodhi trees at Wat Pho, and the Siamese art treasures of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, each sight eliciting gasps of amazement.

At noon, the Royal Banquet Hall by the Chao Phraya River presented a dual feast for the eyes and palate. From northern Thai tom yum hotpot to southern coconut milk curry, from seafood sashimi to tropical fruit platters, the buffet spread was a dazzling display of exotic flavors, allowing everyone to indulge to their heart’s content.

In the afternoon, under the skilled hands of professional masseurs, the team experienced the renowned Thai massage, easing travel fatigue and relieving physical and mental stress, leaving every colleague feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated.

As night fell, a cozy Thai-style hotpot became the day’s final stop. Gathering around the table, everyone cooked fresh ingredients while sharing their experiences and impressions of the day. The steaming pot bubbled with joy and warmth, lighting up the entire evening.

From the initial excitement of arriving in Bangkok to the immersive cultural journey, and then to the dual satisfaction of gourmet delights and relaxation, the first day of 1981 Technology’s Thailand team-building concluded on a light and joyful note. In the days ahead, this vibrant and cohesive team will continue to journey together, letting the joy of the 10th anniversary keep rising in this foreign land!
